Who uses pet sitting services?
A variety of people use pet sitters. They can include owners that may be required to travel for business, families/couples and single owners that are leaving home to enjoy a holiday, older owners that may be required to visit hospital and owners that may need a little extra assistance with exercising their pets.
 
 
Will Animal's Kingdom care for my pets if I am only away for one to two days?
Of course, we have no minimum or maximum amount of time we will visit/walk/exercise or handle your loved pets.
 
 
What happens if my animal becomes sick while I am away?
If your animal show signs of illness, we will attempt to contact you as soon as possible and will alert your nominated veterinarian. If you do not have a nominated vet clinic, we will recommend one in your area.
Your emergency contact information will be collated at your initial consultation with an Animal's Kingdom Pet Care team member.
 
 
Do I need to leave my key with your staff?
If you need us to access pets inside your home we will require entry to your home. We will securely store your key in our company safe. Each key will receive a numbered code, and ensure that your details are kept separate.
 
Your key can be handed over to us at your initial consultation or can be picked up by us at a convenient time before you leave.
 
 
Will my dog/s be walked with other clients' dogs?
No, we will only walk your dog with another dog from the same household. This way we will be able to provide the necessary attention to each animal. If your dog is sociable, we will walk them in areas where they are likely to meet other dogs on a leash.
 
 
Will Animal's Kingdom handle my reptiles/amphibians?
Yes, if you request this from our staff. We are comfortable handling reptiles and amphibians and can provide this as part of our home visit service.
 
 
 
 
Will you walk/exercise my dog/horse if it is raining?
Yes, most dogs will enjoy walking in the rain. We ask that you leave a towel available for us to dry your dog off after each walk.
If your horse is not opposed to exercising in the rain we will continue to provide this service. These specificdetails on your pet/s will be discussed at your initial consultation.
 
Will I get my payment refunded if I cancel my services with Animal's Kingdom Pet Care?
You will receive a refund if you make a cancellation 48 hours or more before your scheduled visit. You will not receive any refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of your visit. 
 
What does 'enrichment' mean?
Enrichment is a term used to describe the process of enhancing an animal's environment by allowing them to express natural behaviours. 
Enrichment is used to stimulate animals both mentally and physically. It promotes activity, can decrease boredom, anxiety and undesirable behaviour (pacing, barking, digging) and can be used to strengthen the human-animal bond.
 
Enrichment is important as providing the daily essentials of food, water and health care to your pet.
